I must thank Ken Tay for informing us about The National. And Dark Was The Night in general. As I work my way through that album,my faith in contemporary music is slowly being restored.

Also, in an ironic twist of fate, my music folder is overflowing with an excess of songs from the 40s. I’ve given up on trying to sort through it all. I’m just only to delete everything except Ella Fitzgerald and Bing Crosby.
