There’s nothing much for us to talk about now that IB is over. I’ll give you a brief update on my life and go from there.
Have been watching a lot of movies recently.
Also have attempted to return to proper gaming. Failing miserably. I only seem to game nowadays when there’s nothing on television. Fortunately though, there’s rarely anything on television.
Have started reading again – finished The Catcher in the Rye and will move on to Midnight Children presently. I’ve also picked up Doctor Thirteen, a truly awesome comic book, if only because of :
TALKING VAMPIRE NAZI GORILLAS.
I’ve also been doing some film-related work. Yay, acting! Did a bit of camera work but nothing notable. Also lent out uniforms. But I don’t really want go down too many times – this would be eating up my valuable slacking time. I feel terrible that I can actually think this way of course. But I’m tired of being a jack-of-all-trades, so it’s just acting in this one and then moving on to the next project - once I’m sure I’ve delivered an appropriately satisfying performance. 2 years ago I would have jumped on the opportunity to be involved in so many projects at once. I suppose I’m seen the horrible error in that path – when you over commit, you end up not doing shit.
In other news, I’ve been going to Borders more often than usual to finish a few books. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not the kind of person that steals literature by reading it up in the store. I only ’steal’ things that I feel are ridiculously overpriced. Like this brilliant thing.
Its a great find but I’m not paying $30 dollars more than what this thing should cost just because they throw in an amusing slime cover.
